PDO Threading

The Non-Surgical Face Lift

This minimally invasive procedure uses threads with small cones or graspers on them. The threads are passed under the skin with a needle, and the cones hold the skin from underneath, pulling it into a more youthful, lifted position.

What is PDO Threading?

New advances in technology have made thread lifting a viable option for those who want to tighten loose skin on the face, neck or jowls. When the treatment first became popular, the threads were made with permanent materials. Now, the threads are dissolvable, which lowers the risk of infection and complications.

How Long Does a PDO Thread Lift Last?

Although a thread lift cannot achieve the same results as a traditional face-lift, it also does not involve any deep tissue manipulation. While the threads are underneath the skin, your body has a selective response that produces collagen to repair itself. Eventually, the threads will dissolve after about six months, but the revitalizing effects can continue to last for up to 3 years.

The treatment has begun to gain significant attention among both men and women wanting to eliminate early signs of aging. Fine lines, sagginess, and wrinkles can all be addressed at a more economical price and with less downtime than traditional surgery.
